About the event
Each month we have a theme that you are free you are free to interpret however you'd like. Choose a recipe to make from one of the many cookbooks or other resources in our collection- don't worry, we'll have plenty of suggestions for you! Then we'll meet to talk about books and cooking and enjoy each other's company. Photos of your finished dish are encouraged but not required. In celebration of this year's Silicon Valley Reads theme "A Greener Tomorrow Starts Today", this month we are cooking with seeds. Use seeds to flavor your creations or cook something that contains seeds- there are so many savory and sweet options. If you have seeds left over, you can try planting some in your garden or in a pot! Browse our incredible cookbook collection in the library, our ebooks on CloudLibrary, or our online resource AtoZ World Food, find something that looks interesting to you, and cook! Come to our meeting ready to talk all about what you made and the book you used.
