Are you thinking of redoing or modifying the look of your front yard with drought tolerant plants? February in the Bay Area is a great time to start designing your new garden. This is the time to decide how you want to use your yard, how to pick the plants you want and how to arrange the plants attractively. Many waterwise plants are starting to bloom now. It is a good time to start looking at plants and collecting ideas. Master Gardener Sandy Wright will use information from the Master Gardeners Handbook to help you achieve curb appeal in the publicly viewed areas of your garden. Basic design elements and layout plans will be discussed so you can successfully find right place for the right plant in your yard. Additional information will be provided about viewing drought tolerant plants at our local Master Gardener demonstration gardens.
