This enlighting panel discussion on climate change is hosted by Indian Business and Professional Women (IBPW).

Join us to discuss All We Can Save, a groundbreaking anthology that addresses the urgent need for collective action on climate change. The book is a compilation of essays and poems by diverse women climate leaders who provide insightful perspectives on the intersectionality of climate issues. It emphasizes the role of women in environmental activism and underscores the importance of amplifying their voices in the climate conversation.  Our expert panel will cover include the impacts of climate change on marginalized communities, the creation of innovative solutions, and grassroots movements that are driving positive change.  The panel discussion will be upbeat and hopeful for building a more inclusive and sustainable future.

Panelists: 

Monica Chen Executive Director of New Roots Institute, a national non-profit dedicated to empowering the next generation with knowledge and training to end factory farming.

Heather Durham Ms. Durham launched Silicon Valley -Technology, Art, Green and Sustainability (SVTAGS) a cable TV show, that now airs on 20 stations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her purpose in creating this show was to help educate the public, connecting them to what’s happening with technology, art, green and sustainability in Silicon Valley and beyond. She now has 210 shows produced and aired on the 20 Silicon Valley Stations.

Lauren Ornelas is a long-time animal rights activist since 1987 and is the founder and Senior Programs Director of Food Empowerment Project (F.E.P.), a vegan food justice nonprofit that promotes veganism, champions the rights of farm workers, highlights the lack of access to healthy foods in Black and Brown communities, and raise awareness about the worst forms of slavery, including child labor, in the chocolate industry.
