Join Santa Clara Central Library on Tuesday, March 10, to meet friendly therapy pets from Love on a Leash in the Redwood Room. According to the National Institutes of Health, animals can reduce loneliness, increase feelings of social support, and boost your mood.

About the event
Join us on Tuesday, March 10, to meet friendly therapy pets from Love on a Leash in the Redwood Room. According to the National Institutes of Health, animals can reduce loneliness, increase feelings of social support, and boost your mood. There will also be coloring sheets and other relaxing activities available if you want to hang out to destress with your neighbors after meeting our therapy pets.
This event is designed for adults to have an opportunity to destress, meet their neighbors and build community. Ages 18+ only please. For opportunities for children to interact with therapy pets, please see our Reading With Pets program for grades K-5.
